you may be wondering,
what do you mean by 'mascots'?

when i say mascots i do not mean generally. i specifically mean characters from:

• sanrio
• san-x
• and other companies like them!

i jus wanna give a forewarning that i know these companies are shit. sanrio has literally whitewashed characters (and in general has been pretty racist in the past; i.e. sambo and hannah. but supposedly they did support blm but... maybe don't whitewash characters on the side?) and works with other companies that support isreal.

i acknowledge companies can make mistakes but they're. companies. not individuals. they are created purely for the sake of draining your wallet dry.

but either way it is a bad idea to idolize companies like this and i know that. i simply like the characters they create. but unfortunately they have already added to the consumer-rotted mold brain i have, so. all im going to say is just don't buy shit from them like all the time.

with that out of the way, let's get started!

all of the characters im going to be talking about are very niche! maybe not the rarest, but all in all don't except my melody to be on here (my melody side characters are a different case! except for my sweet piano... sorry. also, im not going to be talking about every single niche mascot character; just the ones i find interesting/cute!

there will be pictures of official art, merchandise, and whatever else! although, even if the character is really niche, im probably not going to have every single photo about them here; just the ones i find interesting or relevant enough—something like that! i'll try my best to credit each and every image but there may be some parts missing. if you know the source of something, please reach out to me!
